I would say nes but it was not reliable at all, (Especially that damn loader!) So I will say Snes. It really when you think about it set a new standard for gaming and won the first ever "Console war" hands down.

I got total respect for the NES which really did tremendous and brought me into games.

But if I would have to choose, I choose this system that defined the once golden age of video games.

The Wii. 7 out of 10 right now because it hasn't got the online support i want (yet) and they need to make a VC channel. Do that stuff and ill give it a nine but never ten because all though i dont really mind it should have been more powerful. but it still is the best. by far. ive never had so much fun with a console and the best titles are still yet to come!Ā

The wii, I've had all the other nintendo consoles, and while they rock, the wii has the capability to be all of them in one, and wii games are just plain fun, screw chris hecker and his "art".

Well, if you count VC, Wii is the best. But without it, probably N64. BanjoĀ 2Ā and Ocarina are the greatestĀ console games ever.

Give me my original NES. I can still play games on it and have a great time, plus there is the nostalgia factor.

What do you mean it's a gaming system, a system that plays games. I think you're thinking of a gaming console instead. *Takes his finger and sticks it up his ass* :P

I agree with you Dencore, my favorite Nintendo system is the DS for your same reasons. Favorite console would be the Nintendo 64.

Hopefully, in 2010/11, once the Wii has been here many years and has way more games, I can say the Wii is my favorite Nintendo console. I just love using the Wiimote, I really do, it's just so unique and awesome, and while it does have some good games I wouldn't call any of them but Zelda great but in the years to come I hope we get many great ones.

The best console so far will be the Wii. I've been a gamer since the NES days and those were some fun times back in the day, but the Wii just has so much more going for it that it'll come out on top. The Wii is currently my favorite console of all time, replacing the Dreamcast.

True Yes, Zelda is the greatest game of all time IMHO. And Trauma Center: Second Opinion is better then the original. It's still hard for that to compete against Yoshi's Island DS *THE best platformer ever*, Contact *very unappreciated*, Lunar Knights, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Kirby's Canvas Curse, Jump Ultimate Stars, Phoenix Wright, and all those gems left. But you never know, remember the DS when it first came out, the line up was so bad that Yoshi's Touch & Go was rated AA. :|

I'm not going to be rating them, but I'll add them up from my favorite to my least favorite. 64 - Simply magificent, my first console Wii - It has great potential, lets hope it exploits it. NES - My first gaming experince was provided by the NES, I never owned it, nor mastereed any of the games, but I had fun shooting ducks. SNES - GC share the last palce SNES because I never really played it, so I have no opinion about it and the GC because it did porly compared to it's competition.

Started gaming with Nintendo, then went to Sega, back to Nintendo with the N64, but went back to the snew after the N64. Overall the N64 created what my favorite form of gaming is and thats Zelda in 3d. OoT and MM were amazing. But overall super Nintendo in my opinion was NIntendo at its best. ALTTP was amazing, super metroid, super mario world, mario rpg=first paper mario-play it. f-zero, mario kart and many many more amazing games.

i regret not getting a n64 to this day but played it heaps anyways. Snes was the greatest console nintendo ever brought out only because it won the war of Video games in the 90s unTILL playstation came out. TheĀ only reason why i chose a psx over n64 was because of Tekken and the arcade games I LOVED and I LOVE psx still i have all the games and play them regularly

N64 Games - 9/10 - Zelda, Mario, Banjo, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong, Body Harvest, etc. No good fighters though its one failing. Reliability - 9/10 - The control sticks kinda broke after a few years but other than that... Graphics - 10/10 - Give me the colourful exuberence of Mario 64 over the PS muddiness any day. Gameplay - 10/10 - All the terrific gameplay you could hope for. Invented 3D platforming, action adventure, open world games. I still play it to this day.

What was it like playing games that good after the game crash. Did you think after playing those games that they would get really popular and the crash will end?

I'd have to say the Super Nintendo and the Wii tie. They're both pretty damn good systems and lets hope the Wii does as good as the SNES did. THe competition is higher each new generation.
