I'd go with Super Mario Galaxy. Though I'm not exactly mind blown by any of the games...I just feel that the motion sensing capabilities of the Wii haven't gone to their best use yet, not to mention all of the third party developers seem to still have no idea how to pull it off well. It worked great with The Godfather where the Wii-mote made aiming a lot more satisfying, but I think it's a little sad how the machine had so much potential and almost no games have really been able to realistically have you swing something for example to go with the motion sensing...What's even more sad is that just about every game could have well gone to the Gamecube, and the only foreseeable different is that you navigate though menus by pointing the controller at the screen...Wow, I'm so excited....

I'd have to say Galaxy. It's an amazing game, though I'm still kind of disappointed with it in certain aspects.

I want to say Mario Galaxy but some small part of my mind keeps pleading for me to go with Metroid Prime 3.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
2. Super Mario Galaxy
3. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
4. WarioWare: Smooth Moves
5. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Except Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū Wii, which featured online as well.

He is right though, this game features authentic use of Mii's. Something Nintendo swore would only go to titles most worthy on the console.

Brawl is just Melee with a few more characters, stages, and online multiplayer. Although good, it cannot be considered the best. Galaxy is the best by far. The gameplay amazing, with moiton support and gravity instensive gameplay. Great platformer! Zelda TP is the runner up, with its great motion controls and story. It's just not as original as Galaxy.

I would definently say Mario Galaxy, simply because it is one of the biggest displays of fan service that I have ever seen, right up there with Brawl and MGS4.

Mario Kart Wii. I haven't felt this satisfied by a game in a long time. It's gonna take a lot for Nintendo to top it.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl....because it's genius. It's Melee...except almost as good. More options and stuff, but it does have a slightly stale taste, like all wii games. Galaxy is great and all; but it has flaws in addition to a stale taste. Twilight Princess is the stalest of them all. Corruption is fairly stale, it's good and all but not up to part with Brawl.

Wii hardcore Games = Stale.

Super Mario Galaxy-It's amazing how fresh and new it felt while still clearly being a part of the Mario franchise. It's completely and utterly brilliant, and there's such a great variety of things to do in it.

Top 5 games out: 1. Super Mario Galaxy 2. Super Smash Bros. Brawl 3. Mario Kart Wii 4. Metroid Prime 3 5. Zelda: Twilight Princess Top 5 to look forward to: 1. Animal Crossing Wii 2. Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility 3. Sonic Unleashed 4. New Zelda 5. Final Fantasy vi for the virtual console Hopefuls: A PROPER pokemon game in which you can visit all previous worlds; the Wii is certainly capable. Wii Sports 2 Sims 3 (Don't **** up the PC to console transition) RE5 should be on the Wii!

as in a game made by nintendo? the galaxy.

however the more i play it, the more i think okami is actually the best game on the wii now. absolutely stunning game thats perfectly worthy to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of the zelda series.

i can think of no other way to describe it but as absolutely stunning.

I'll say Super Mario Galaxy...

Super Smash Bros Brawl is undeniably a fantastic game, but I don't think it improves on Melee enough to make it stand out... the online is horrendous unless you use Nintendo's excessively clunky friend code system, the expanded adventure mode takes everything that was lousy about Melee's adventure mode and drags it out to several hours in length. Although I do like the fact that they added even more collectibles than the last game and the graphics are improved.

Twilight Princess is a good game, but it doesn't come close to the expectations I had based on the ridiculously long dev cycle. At the very least, the Wii version should've been a great deal better than the Gamecube version and the only differences I see are tacked on controls and widescreen support (which should have been in the Gamecube version, I'll add.

Meanwhile, Super Mario Galaxy is -- IMHO -- the best 3-D Mario game available. The Wiimote controls are tight and well-implemented, the gameplay is creative and makes a 23-year-old formula feel fresh again. It also makes me laugh, which is a plus in a video game to me.

Bleh, I'll argue to the death on you that Mario 64 is close to 100 times better than galaxy. And as for laughing, mario 64 OBVIOUSLY trumps it with it's 2-lined story..."Mario, please come to the castle. I've baked a cake for you!"

Yes I'm being serious

It's got motion controls for some game modes (mostly home run derby and single game play)

It's got "standard" controls for the most game modes (including all the season stuff)

It's got a quick pick up and have a game mode

It's got a 10 year franchise mode

It's even got a baseball RPG where you have to get a player through college into the pros

The game is only 19.99 these days but you may be better off waiting until the 2008 version comes out this fall (October to be exact)

Twilight Princess (bit biased), but everyone should own/play Galaxy.
