Yes, Mario Kart is the best. Not only because of how easy it is to find a room or the absolute lack of lag, but because you can actually join online games with another person in real life. Hours and hours of pure joy.
I've recently been playing Grand Slam Tennis and I have to say that that game works great online, no lag, lots of players and a really simple online engine that will get you in a match in no time. Mario Kart Wii is awesome too.
Mario Kart Wii I think it's the best online game for the Wii but one thing I hate about it to many cheaters are on it doing that infinity blue shell cheat and yet Nintendo do nothing about them.
Mario Kart, COD-WaW, Conduit(actually really good, its just you already played it...), Brawl(since the first week it came out, i havent had any trouble online), onslaught(alot of fun, think Starship troopers, with online co-op), Strikers, BWii. These are just the ones I've played over the last couple months. All great games.

The only games I have been online with are Call of Duty: World at War, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawland Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City.
CoD:WaW = Pretty damn good.
Mario Kart = No hassles at all, probably the best online for the Wii, no lag at all. Only problem is the cheaters (ofwhich I rarely see).
SSBB: Waste of time. Never playing it online again. So freakin laggy every match I play. It sucks.
Animal Crossing: It's ok. If you like the game originally, this will appeal to you furthermore. Runs smoothly, kinda annoying you need friend codes though.
Definitely Mario Kart Wii or Call of Duty 5. Both are lots of fun and often lag free. Brawl would be a lot of fun, but it seems like everytime I try to play online the game lags to the point that it isn't enjoyable at all. Otherwise Brawl would definitely be on the list.
In my opinion, Mario Kart Wii. Barley any lag - just some hackers and cheaters you will hate. A lot. And you can play online with a friend too! It will be very easy to find some people to play with. I don't know about the others though - I heard the Conduit's online isn't half bad.
Aww, no love for Excitebots:P I love the online in Excitebots, and MK, and Brawl when played with friends, not random.

I was just hopping in to say eXciteBots!! epic fun, and amazing races. love it. I just wish there were more competitive players. it's all that is missing. It's even better when you can find someone who gives you good runs..

I've ran into some pretty competitive players, especially on Poker Race. I just hate those few players that sit there on the lobby screen and always wait until that time runs out, and don't even race, they can really ruin the game. And that goes on every race until i decide to find a new group. You can't really fix that, it's just really annoying.
Brawl. It rarely lags for me and offers more competition for those who do not want to be interrupted by randomness. :P Mario Kart is great for its jump in and play-ness.

it's even worse when they sit there flipping through bots the whole time. I think it's sore losers doing that. there are some great players, sometimes it's hard to find them tho.. I just started playing more again. I have 6 million stars. back on topic I will say mario kart had better online options, mainly joining friends in random matches. However, I think excite bots is the better game.
