Since you've included Raichu I may as well just say my team then:
Typhlosion
Raichu
Leafeon
Azurmarill
Swellow
Lucario
Team 1
Infernape
Alakazam
Electivire
Tyranitar
Garchomp
Dialga
Team 2
Empoleon
Honchkrow
Lucario
Magmortar
Salamence
Metagross
Team 3
Torterra
Weavile
Milotic
Dragonite
Mewtwo
Scizor
LOL Whatever happened to...
Pikachu
Bulbasaur
Squirtle
Charmander
Pidgeotto
Butterfree
hehe back in the day of Red and Blue this used to be my team lol
Of course :P lol some people say the show sucks cos it has stupid story lines... but meh I STILL watch it at the age of 17 :)... seen the 10 movies... waiting for the 11th lol
But yeah I'm wondering about making a team... On my Pearl game I have one of each of everything (except for Lugia, Celebi, Deoxys, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus) and I'm just training them to level 100 to pass the time until the nexst gameareeno :P lol
hey guys, ive changed my team!!!!!!!:
Empoleon
Drifblim
Cacturne
Staraptor
Lucario
Bronzong
yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy......:D.....
Azelf
Gyarados
Empoleon
Torterra
Staraptor
And I actually don't have a 6th. To the users of GS what should my 6th be. I don't want it to be a legendary for wi-fi purposes. And would people on wi-fi be fine with it if i used Azelf?
This actually isn't that good of a team but I like it.

Timotei123
That's Ash's team lol :P
I think I had the same team on Yellow Version.
What a load of crap ?
Do you guys even know about EV's Iv's natures or anything , take no offence to this but your teams are no where close to a good team take that on WiFi and you will get absolutely whipped everytime , try look at http://www.smogon.net if you want some tips.
A good team doesn't consist of any 6 random legendaries or starters, you actually have to put thought and effort into it..

Dude chill lol. I don't think these people really give a damn about high-end tournaments or online play. Besides, if you did take some of their parties and trained them correctly they could be mostly viable in a real enough setting.
Well then the title should say Best party on Pokemon D/P (note. i dont care about evs, ivs, competitive battling, wifi, natures or breeding)
Well most of them have legendaries which are usually considered uber in wifi play , and no they wouldn't coz most of the teams are 6 sweepers.
hmm my team used to be:
fortress?(i dont remeber his name)-but i opened with him to lay spikes and stones
that moth that got faster after every move-used her to build up speed and evasiveness then baton tossed
metacross-great physical sweeper
dragon dance gyrados-this was my go to poke,dd a few times then earthquake will 1hko any poke in the game(and all those pesky eletric pokes)
the dark evolution of eevee-this was my sponge, equipped with toxic and moonlight, she can outlast any non fighting poke in the game.(especally if i had evasive bonus from that baton passing moth)
my 6th i rotated-usually porygon z if i wanted a more offensive oriented team or skarmory/blissey if i wanted a more defensive oriented team.

I know about EV's... just learned it today and now I'm hearing it from you... hehe.
It's kinda confusing... is it like selecting what stats you want to be good for your type of pokemon.

Yep it sure is and it's vital to competitive battling, basically every Pokemon gives a certain ev once you defeat them in a battle. Ev's raise certain stats to higher levels than they would if you dont ev train.
http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/
scroll down to the botom of that and you should see something that says
If you want to see which ev pokemon hold or something and then it has little buttons which say ATK DEF SPEED and so and forth, if you click attack it shows you a list of pokemon which give off attack ev's same with all the others , hope i helped you dude.

All my PKMN are EV trained ;)Actually I do know about that and its my secondary team. Btw if you havn't noticed legendaries are pretty powerful...umm thats why they're LEGENDARY. And besides whos talkin about online? Not me. I'm not tryin to be a jerk but this forum is for opinions. You don't have to crush everyones opinion of a good team. If it helps you beat the game then it's pretty good to me.What a load of crap ?

It's an alright party, although:
an ice pokemon would wipe the floor with Cacturne and Staraptor
a ground type would pown your raichu and maybe your empoleon (if it was fast)
so, yh two common weaknesses there...Mamoswine would be awesome here.
