TWEWY is by far my favorite DS game so I'll say that. Can't wait for Kingdom Hearts though. It might give TWEWY a run for it's money, but it'll be tough for KH to pass it.
I've just started on Bowser's Inside Story, maybe the best Mario RPG since Seven Stars on SNES. Partners in Time is awesome too.
Outside this, Phantom Hourglass is RPGish...probably more adventure in the context of the lists that have come up so far.
Final Fantasy IV is wicked as well.
The World Ends With You might be my favourite game on DS. A breath of fresh air, stick with it and get used to it, and you will love it. Has lasted me ages thus far.
shin megami tensei devil survivor and the world ends with u cant say about kingdomhearts since its not out yet but i dont think it will match up to the above ones
Chrono Trigger is one of my all time favorite games (but I have it for SNES not DS.) But as a non remake I'd have to say probably The World Ends With You.
tough to say there so many to choose from. Id go with TWEWY, Kingdom hearts, FFIV, Chrono Trigger, Devil Survivorreaver-x
I really want Devil Survivor. I saw it in three different stores, but when I had the money to buy it, all three copies were gone :( I bought FFX instead

Hopefully its as good as it looks. Good purchase on FFX though. My favorite game of all time.
The Final Fantasy games are some of the best. I seriously think i've actually beaten every DS RPG there is other than TWEWY and the new releases. Anyways, I would say Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is one of the best or maybe Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. I could never get into FFIV because of the crappy voice acting. It totaly ruined the game for me. Thinks like that really ruin a game. And of course Pokemon games are pretty good.
Final Fantasy III, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Dragon Quest series, and Children of Mana. Also, Chrono Trigger and Mario and Luigi 3 are good.

Most people say FFIII sucks, but its one of the best FFs i've played, and Children of Mana got a terrible review but its still really solid, just short.
