Just got a wii and all I have is paper mario and the super paper mario. What game best utilizes the wii-mote and nunchuck? Basically I'm looking for a game that really shows off the uses of this controller. Not necessarily the best game but best use.

P.s. I don't believe this would be considered a recommendation. More of a poll.

Wii sports is pretty awesome (bowling is great!). Mainly a shooter is what I'm looking for. I'd like a game that uses the nunchuck and wiimote for moving and aiming. Basically whats the best game that separates it from the 360/ps3?

Medal of honor heroes 2 and metroid prime 3 use the wiimote and nunchuck very well.

As do no more heroes, trauma center (both titles), zack and wiki, the godfather and battalion wars 2

He said Shooter, MP3 IMO is not a shooter.

I suggest either Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (has online which is a massive bonus and makes the game about 20 times more fun) or Godfather (not specifically a shooter but it uses the Wii remote very well and it's a really long game).

Just because Metroid has more to it than just running and gunning doesn't disqualify its FPS characteristics. Its more of an FPS than anything else in my opinion. But even if he agrees that its not it is still a great game that utilizes the wiimote and nunchuk in order to shoot things.

I think Moh:h2 has awesome controls. DBZT3 is also a nice choice (if you like Dragonball).

Don't forget Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. There's a direct comparison you can make to the same game on other consoles, and the controls make it the best one. Lots of shooting stuff, too.

I've only played the Wii version. Controls are top notch, very satisfying.

I agree with many of these posting here. Besides Wii Sports Mp3 (nice level of immersion when interacting with environment), MoHH2 (controls are every bit as good as advertised), Zack and Wiki (good but not quite as good as some people say), Godfather (should be the template for all 3rd person shooters) and Madden '07 are all very good showcases for the Wii controller. After Madden '07 i can't go back to traditional football controls. Way too boring. MoHh2 will spoil you as well. Godfather, MoHH2 and Madden should immulated as much as possible by any developer looking to maximize the Wii's controls. i'm hoping Pro evolution soccer which comes out in March will be as good as it looks. Very interesting use of the Wii remote and nunchuk.

I am picking up RE4 for the wii. I have the gamecube version but I figure I'll just give it to my nephews. I haven't played the seperate ways on re4 so I'll do that.

Has anyone played no more heroes? Its between that or Medal of honorheroe so far....

i think suda51 did a great job comprimising traditional with motion controls in NMH, and theres a random shump thrown into one of the ranking missions that makes u turn the wiimote sideways, i wasnt too sure about the controls when i first got the game but i was suprised at how well the scheme works, i also think MoHH2, MP3 (fps/adventure i think), and zack and wiki make great use of the controllers

Zack and Wiki impressed me, also did Moh: H2, but hands down the best is MP3, and yes, I'd classify it a shooter.

Here we go again with this. MP3 controls like a shooter, doesn't it? He's talking about controls. Lets stick to that.

Picked up Resident Evil 4 and it is great. Its down to no more heroes or the medal of honor. Target didn't have either of them in stock. My roommate is picking up metroid prime and Zelda.

Any other games that work really well with the controls?
