A Link to the Past and Wind Waker are the best games. From that list, I'll choose Ocarina of time and Wind Waker. They are as direct as sequels get in the Zelda franchise.

Where's Oracle of Ages/Seasons? :(

I choose Wind Waker because it has the greatest graphical style the series has ever seen. All of the items you get in the game are used numerous times throughout the adventure as oposed to just the dungeon you get them in. I love the 49 island grid set up for exploration after the main quest is over. The pictobox sidequest with all the figurines is amazing (it will also take a LONG time to finish). The story is BY FAR the best the Zelda Series has ever had, BY FAR! Pure brilliance

i picked the last one. OoT is the best of the 3d zeldas and MM is the oddball.

Wind Waker and Majora's Mask. Those are the games I think of when I think of Zelda

Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.
