for me its zelda ss i never play ocarina of time and major mask i dont have N64

"Magor of mask"? seriously...? Like seriously? I know you can only put in 5 answers but I think if your gonna do this, dont do a poll, have everyone vote through post because wow, a lot of people think A Link To The Past the most. Personally, I also think The Original is epic.
SS is up in the air though, and right now that is where it fits. It could change for better or worse, since I still have at least 15 hours of playtime left.
I would have to go with Wind Waker for having what makes Zelda amazing along with the best setting and by far the greatest story I've experienced in gaming.
It's still OoT. SS does some things better, but the scale and sense of epicness isn't at OoT's level.
I'd rank the ones I've beaten or played enough as:
1. Ocarina of Time 2. Majora's Mask 3. A Link to the Past 4. Skyward Sword 5. Twilight Princess 6. Oracle of Ages/Seasons 7. Four Swords (GBA) 8. Spirit Tracks 9. Phantom Hourglass 10. Wind Waker

This right here. If I were going to go on any of the many adventures of Link, it would be in flooded hyrule.
. TP is extremely underrated. I think it's better than Ocarina by a fair margin and I would consider TP to be my 2nd favorite Zelda. My favorite is still Magor of Mask (lol), despite its flaws. That game took over my mind.
It'll always be the original Zelda. (fav. game all time too) I've played all the Zelda's (exclu. handhelds and SS) but the original was just amazing. Stepping in the last dungeon with such a drastic change of dugeon music really made an impact that you're in for the long haul. The difficulty, level designs, music, items were all there. I'd liked it how everything was purely on exploration, and hearing that 'secret music' everytime felt like an accomplishment. Then again, I grew up on the NES so it has the nostalgia factor too.
I'd rate the series:
1. The Legend of Zelda 2. Ocarina of Time 3. A Link to the Past 4. Zelda II 5. Four Swords Adventures 6. Majora's Mask 7. Twilight Princess 8. The Wind Waker
Don't worry, there are still some sane gamers that loved Twilight Princess. Just don't get carried away by the people shouting about it and you'll be fine.

i loved TP it was an excellent game. i think the problem with zelda fans is that we keep comparing each new game to say OoT, or a zelda game you loved in general. the point of every new zelda game is NOT to copy its predecessor, it is to introduce new ideas and maintain its own identity. SS is by far the most different zelda game in the series imo, and i love it. i could play TP and then SKyward Sword and feel as if i have played 2 different games.
that being said the only thing i bash TP for was the fact that it copied OoT so closley lol

ya so far SS is really shaping up. im in the 5th temple right now, and i noticed my play time was only 18 hours :P
man i need to slow down with SS im playing too fast....
