Behold!



Haha! I know... it looks so crappy and stupid. But I tried it out on the can shooting game in WarioWare and it actually worked pretty good! I had to use tape to keep the Wiimote from getting pushed back when the B trigger is pressed, but other than that it's pretty much just pieces put together with a couple of grooves.

Yup, just 3 cardboard pieces and some tape. Took me about 15 minutes :)

Thing about the zapper shell is it works more like a shotgun, you have to hold it with both your hands from what I understand. Mine is supposed to work like a revolver, or the old-school zapper if you will. I'm actually thinking about making some sort of guide for this over at instructables.com. Shame I can't make a nice comfortable plastic handle though.

I'm drawing up a guide of how to cut all the pieces... hopefully I'll have a printable JPG or PDF available soon. I quickly realized the handle needed to be a LOT longer. And there must be a way of keeping the remote safely locked in position without having to use tape.

I made new handle pieces for it, now they're longer and fit much better in my hand. I'm telling you, this is really neat and totally works :D

Very nice! I like that good job. But i have a question. In your signature, how come that SNES looks different from the one i have. Mine has 2 purple switches? This is the one i have.

I think his is the Super Famicon version, which is basically the Super Nintendo but in Japan. I could be wrong, but I think I'm right.

My SNES is a PAL-version, that's why it's different. Apparently it's the same in Japan. Oh by the way, I've worked more on my gun mod:



As you can see I've given the handle a "paint job" :P and there's a hole in the back for the nunchuk.
