The game doesn't look like it would even match up with F-Zero GX. They should revise that statement.

Exactly, they have to fund the pixel pushing for Elder Scrolls V somehow.

Notice, Bethesda is only publishing it in Europe. This actually came out here in the US a few days ago: http://www.amazon.com/Speed-Zone-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B0024OW23I , published by someone else.

Truly, based on gameplay videos I've seen, the game doesn't look too bad, as it seems like some sort of interesting hybrid of San Francisco Rush 2049 and F-Zero. Further more, it can be played with a cla$$c (blasted Gamespot censors) controller, which is a big plus in my opinion.

Not even a funny picture can describe how big of a fail that is... I've lost tons of respect for them now.

I feel sick to my stomach. Bethesda is going down hill. First their RPGs are becoming more mainstream (dumbed down), and now this.

Unless you did something to your console, all Wiis can play Gamecube games. Meaning that yes, it is competing against a 6 year old video game that can be found in nearly every bargain bin.

And if you must be "well that's all nitpicky I forgot my Wii can play Gamecube games" then allow me to mention Speed Racer Wii.

So now they're just lying, because no part of Wheelspin looks better than Speed.
