Personally, I choose Mario games, I love Pokemon games, but they seem to get old after a while, but I can pick up New Super Mario Bros. and play any day. Plus there's Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Kart DS, etc. Mario has many more kinds of games too, which gives him somewhat of an advantage.
Pokemon because they come out with more games that i like. The only games i liked from mario on the Ds so far were New Super Mario Bros. and Super mario 64
IMO, Mario Kart, Bowser Inside Story, NSMB are much better than the Mystery Dungeon and Ranger games, but I rather play the main RPG Pokemon games than those Mario games.
I think i will choose Pokemon even though some parts starts to get a little bored, but the game is longer and also its more like a advandure game. Also Mario games is shorter times.
