I was thinking. Given the (once) gimmick of having nintendo's most popular characters fight each other until they are blue in the face...wouldn't it be amazing if they did much more than that? Think about it! What if they used the same concept of putting such a large variety of characters...in an action adventure game! think about it: going through the mushroom kingdom as link, only to later crawl through the depths of planet Zebes or Talon IV as Princess Peach, or have a massive Final Boss battle consisting of Bowser, Ridley, and Ganondorf!? Then you can play through the game again and again with a different nintendo character to add a lot of replay (obviously playing with a different character will feel differently). What do you guys think?
Isn't that kind of like adventure mode in melee and subspace emersarry in brawl? except no triple boss battles.christ4ever9889
no, like an actual adventure in 3-dimensional space (but something like that utilizing the gameplay styles of each game whereas SSBM and SSBB just have you fighting from left to right)

I had the same idea but for PS2 characters like Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper & the gang, Glitch from Metal Arms, Klonoa, I'm sure I missed a few. But yeah, a 3D adventure with your favorite characters and localeswould be a blast.
I'd like to see a Kingdom Hearts game or a game with a similar concept made by Nintendo and Square-Enix to have a huge crossover with all Nintendo characters. Kingdom Hearts had Disney characters. Why not take out the Disney characters and put the Nintendo characters?

or nintendo and sony! think about it! Mario working side by side with Jak, Daxter, Rachet ad Clank! Zelda, Peach, and...um...a positive female role model on a sony platform needing to be rescued (oh lets say...that girl from Shadow of the Collosus). Link and Ico forming together! that game would be epic!
