Big Question.

I recently purchased a Action Replay for a Gamecube I recently upgraded to a Wii rather then keeping my Gamecube,

So what I was wondering is will it work on my Wii because I still have Gamecube games that I enjoy using a Action Replay with...

An answer would be great thanks in advance.

ooooohhhh...that is why i have not heard of it.. :P OK thx :)

It shouldnt work now. I used to use my AR on my Wii all the time. Now, due to a firmware update, the Wii can no longer run the GameCube AR. Sorry to disappoint you. :(

The action replay is kind of a modern Game Genie device.

Since you updated the Wii, you can't use the Action Replay. You had to stay to version 1 to still use the GameCube's Action Replay.

What was Nintendo's reason for stopping the Action Replay from working?pjmthomas

Plus I imagine they may exploit many of the same areas of the firmware that Freeloaders do... the device they especially frown on.

You'll have to update at some point, if you want to download VC games or play some newer games. 'Rock and a hard place.'

Yeah I know... :(

Oh well I'll just enjoy it as long as I can.
