Birdo is... A GUY?!

Birdo a transvestite, not a transsexual. They have different meanings. A transvestite is one who adapts the dress and manners of the opposite sex, while a transsexual is one who undergoes a sex-change surgery to legally become the opposite sex.

Luigi's a puff?!? Yoshi is a species because in Melee if you watch the beginning part when you dont press anything on the menu screen you see millions of yoshi migrating. This could be the same with birdo. I think Nintendo are trying to change it into a girl because they know they've ruined the character with the whole transexuality saga. It's all because of what's written in that stupid super mario manual.I consider her as a girl. She rocks on MK.

I dont think that Nintendo is trying to change anything with birdo either. They seem to have gone "this is Birdo, Birdo is trans. Now, lets move on" Birdo is a rather minor character when you think about it. His most important rolls have been in Superstar saga, and SMB2. That and the countless sporting events.

Not everything in this world is either male or female. Some creatures are female only (New Mexico whip-tailed lizards), some creatures are hermaphites (having male and female reproductive organs like snails), some can change from male to female (certain fish species), and some are asexual (most single-cell organisms).

If Yoshi is strange, there are some real-world animals that can lay eggs without conception (chickens, turkeys, and some lizards).
