@.@ i wonder if this goes here anyway so i have a DS lite, and if I try to open it the power light is on and green but both screens are BLANK, nothing whatsoever, but the weird part is that if I apply strong pressure to the sides of the bottom screen, it loads up and everything but as soon as i take the pressure off, the screen freezes -.- There is no way to open my DS without applying pressure so what is the problem here? and how can i fix it? do i have to give it to nintendo to fix it? or is this manually solvable by myself?

Looks like a very serious problem, you should let Nintendo fix it. If problems like DS not booting up or like yours is probably a hardware problem and you really cant fix it yourself.

If you're using a game cart in the bottom slot of the DS it is because you are running an older Game Boy Advanced game that does not support dual screens. Pull out all game cartrages and start the DS in it's splash/ setup screen. If one of the screens is black there then one screen is bad. It not worth fixing unless you have a warranty so at that point head to your local store and pick out a sweet new color.

If you Dont here the Links to the Repair Shop for it
