But if you are from the US, you cannot buy it, because it is region-locked.

That depends on if the game cart is region locked otherwise you can import the game.

yes, that's what i'm saying. why wouldn't they release it over here?

i mean, it's not even a whole new game, they're just porting an already existing game with the DLC characters included.

@ port CS2 came out in america already on other consoles?! (or do you mean, released in japan on consoles+ported to 3DS for america) ?

continuum shift 2 is this game:

http://www.jogos-ps3.com/games/images/BlazBlue2-Continuum-Shift-PS3.jpg

which a whole lot of people own, plus the DLC characters.

so really, they're just porting what already exists.

CS2 was an arcade "fix", as the original arcade version didn't have mu-12, a character unlocked by beating the story mode, and it didn't have either valkenhein nor makoto, the two DLC characters for the consoles.

that "fix" is also being released for the 3DS and the PSP. the reason it's not being released on consoles is pretty obvious, as it costs you $10 to get the "exclusivities" from CS2.
