It's a message, thats all. Just turn the Wii on and click on the bottom right button and read the message and blue disc try light will go bye bye.

When you connect the wii to Internet, wiiconnect 24 turns on, then the front light turns yellow and not red, and the glowing is because you receive a message

It lights up because you have a new message or there is a new update, the yellow light means that you are connected to the internet.

your Wii comes with a manual, which explains all of this.

the blinking indicates that you broke something internally. You must ship it back to Nintendo, they will replace your parts.

Aside from several sarcastic and unhelpful remarks, the blue light just means that you have a message or there is an update to your Wii. The yellow light means that your Wii is in standby mode and Wiiconnect24 is activated.

Read the manual for further information :) .
