I was pleasantly surprised when opening up the July issue of EGM yesterday, seeing Boom Blox with the Game of the Month mark on the review. It recieved an A+, A, and A-. This is great.

I know most of you know this already, but I thought it'd be a good idea to put it out there to everyone else who didn't, especially those that haven't played the game yet.

I've made it clear just how I feel about this game. I still think it's the best game on the Wii not made by Nintendo. It also puts the Wii's controls to better use than most if not all Wii games to date.

I've been urging everyone I know to buy this game, hopefully this will help people with ther decision to try this game out. Don't let the visuals fool you, this game just may be one of the best experiences you'll probably ever have on the Wii.

I had my eye on this game for a while since I heard about it. It does seems like alot of fun and a good puzzle game which there isn't too many on the Wii to my knowledge. I think I might get it :)

Boom Blox was the game that Stephen Speilburg was working on, right?

It looks fun.

Most games would get dry after 3 hours of play.

There is a LOT of variety in BB. Try the multiplayer out with friends. That will go over well.

I'm still not entirely sure what to think of this game. People either seem to love it or find it mediocre. I like puzzles and I'm pretty good at them (I can do a rubix cube. yeah thats right, I know you're jealous) but I still am not so sure about this. I think I really need gamefly or something like that. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it but I am very hesitant to buy.

I also associate this game with Blast Works for some reason (it makes sense it my mind even though they really aren't very similar) and frankly I'm more interested in Blast Works. Blast Works gameplay doesn't even look all that great to me it looks more like a minigame I'm really interested in the build your own stuff mode just so I can make really cool looking ships and stuff. So I think the fact that Blast Works is coming out soon is really stopping me from getting Boom Blox

I am a hardcore gamer with all 3 systems and I personally love this game. It pulled me away from the other next gen systems, pulled me away from GTA IV, and got me to power up my Wii for at least 6 hours this week on single player alone. I rented it twice and now own it. Great game. I agree with 1up whole heartedly.

Yeah i was skeptical about Boom Blox before i bought it, i didnt think it would last that long -- but it is a pretty long game and the multiplayer is awesome.

The level creator is amazing too.

Funny, I played for about 6 hours straight the first day I got it, stopping only because my arm was tired. I could seriously spend hours at a time with the level creator alone. Not too many games interest me enough to where I can sit down and play for long periods at a time, but I do with this game, even after owning it for a few weeks now.

Boom Blox is awesome... I bought it the week it came out on a whim, and was very pleasantly surprised. I've got my whole family playing this game for hours at a time... It's so simple, yet so fun!

It's looks fun, but a little childish looking. I may rent it anyway, just so I can form a firm opinion.

Definitely fun but only a rent, I bought it and it's great with friends, so if you're looking for a multiplayer game get it, but for single player its really limited, I pretty much completed the normal game with mostly silver ratings in about 4 hours. Sure there is more but they can get lost if they think I'm gonna play those stupid protect the kitten levels but on a harder setting...

Ugh, yet another game that I need to find time to play. Sheesh, there are too many good games out these days.
