i wasnt really that fussed if brawl had online or not, but now it def does im glad though, i agree the with anyone could be deeper but it says that they're going to release more modes later on so its still possible those modes will be within the with anyone mode, if that makes sense. we can all breathe easy now. No more waiting...no more guessing...no more questions...no more I tell you and I LOVE the idea of no ranking on anyone matches. This way, people wouldn't be scared off after seeing my 9000+ wins and 1 loss (I must have self destructed or somethin)
but the crap news is there might mot be a micophone attachment available, as brawl gives you the option to communicate with people by typing in stuff beforehand to assign to the control pad.
Also it says "There will also be no battle records kept for this mode, so whether you win or lose, it doesn't matter. Just sit back and play." This is the case only for playing online with people that you don't know. Could this mean that there aren't leaderboards like strikers? But this leads to less dropouts so it has its ups i guess

16 player brawl on a big enough map might be pretty awesome...actually 10 sounds better. the chaos would be fun for a while until the only the best are left so every one can watch a fantantic 4 man brawl, gloves are off now. except i would only do it on the friends option, other wise it would be extremly slow.
Finally, it's official. Now all those idiots on this board who wined about Nintendo probably confirming Brawl's lack of on-line, (a fact in which the opposite was confirmed at E3 2005), can shut-up.
I'm glad that they have officialy announced it. but I wish they had leadorboards for the anyone matches, so that everyone could see my domminance, but you never know maybe they will announce that there is a online mode where ithas ranked matches.
It's confirmed, this is going to be the best game this generation, even if it scores 5.0 here. Hell, even a remake of Melee with what little online mode they've announced for Brawl thus farwould've probably been absolutely spectacular.
