as far as any OFFICIAL AND CREDIBALE sources have told us (ex. smash bros dojo, nintendo, nintendo power, hal labs)
smash bros is due as of febuary 10th, they would not delay it with little more than a month to releace and with all the wii owners frothing at the mouth for it, it would be suicide on nintendos part.

it has happened before, MP3 was delayed a month before release, although it was only a week.
hopefully it is just a rumor, even though this site was right the first time SSBB was delayed
Hell I may be the only one but has anyone noticed that SSBB gets better as time goes on . If they released on its original date we would of had weaker oline play and less characters. If they delay it most likely could be with including Megaman and making more online functions. I hope they delay it so more content can be jammed into this uber polished game.

i heared theyre alredy makin commercials for it in japan and i heared theyre alredy maknig copies so its a rumor....no wait its false because i check smash bros . com
the game has gone "Gold" (meaning they already send a copy for it to be...cpoied millions of times) since lon time ago, so if they dely it it woin't be because they will add new content, it will most likely be because they don't have enough copies and they will sell out like crazy, but still i think ths is veryyy fake

I'm not buying this in the least bit, if the news had already been broken to distributors the news would be readily available, not some secret between one distributor and a gamestop employee. Also both thejapanese version and the american version development are going hand and hand. With the Japanese commercials beginning to air that means the game is done, and ready to go.

its not the same because nto everyone will get it.
I am perfectly content with them delaying it because this will be one of those games that people will play for generatioons to come.
