YES i criticized SSBB so bring forth the torches and line up the pyromaniacs with flamethrowers 'coz there's a party at my house!

Its a game that's way tooooo easy. On the bright side the subspace emmassiarey (whatever) was longer and more challenging than expected, that was on normal difficulty. Those event challenges are suppose to challenge you! Not to brag but beating the first 20 or so fights on hard in one shot doesn't entertain a veteran melee player... They could at leased have kept very hard difficulty option like it is everywhere else in the game.

Every fight feels like it is in slow motion - like the characters are on drugs and think they fly around, and have had five too many tequilas at the launch party and wait half a second before punching the opponent.

All the critics go ballistic when they review this game and sure its great for the kids who are new to the series, but when nintendo decided they wanted a more "adult" less "kiddy" look they took a bad approach (you're supposed to stay good when you've done something bad)- or whatever nonsense saying you would like to insert here.

This is where you tell me how right i am :P BTW does your online brawling lag a lot as well?

Hey lets have a poll now that we're at it.

It was a bit hard to understand you at some points but I get what you're saying and I disagree. Try playing Boss Battles, Classic Mode, Subspace Emissary, etc on Intense difficulty.

During the actual fights, I've never really had much problem with level 9's but they're a lot smarter then they were in Melee. They don't run into your attacks...:P

And no, my online brawls don't lag anymore. They used to, but it's pretty much all gone.

Sheegot

It's really not THAT easy...for example, look at the difficulty levels of the computers during normal Brawl mode. Level 9s are VERY hard, meanwhile in Melee level 9s are challenging, but still pretty easy to beat for a seasoned player. As a Brawl player, I play with levels 6 and 7 and find as challenging, if not moreso, than the level 9s on melee. Sure, I've put WAY more hours in Melee than Brawl, but I'm pretty sure the AI is better in Brawl.

Yeah, event matches were fairly disappointing, they were fun but still too easy; make sure you play them all on hard. I LOVED the difficulty of the later event matches in Melee. But, you have to remember since Brawl and Melee are so simliar, you're already going to be really good at Brawl for putting so many hours into Melee.

And yes, the game is slower, we all know this. I hate it, but that's the way it goes. I love the fast speed of Melee; and that is why ultimately Melee is the better game, despite Brawl's extras and "online" (which is pretty bad and laggy; not really worthy of additional points)

So yeah, you're not really right; the AI is much more difficult in Brawl and the overall game is slower and more focused on aerial attacks, and, I hate to say it, Final Smashes/Items since the items are even more cheaper than before.

I don't understand what you mean by saying adult rather than kiddy apporach, it pretty much has the same art style as Melee just upped graphics due to a new system.

And also, the Poll is horrible. I vote for the "This poll is stupid" option.

That should be enough to chew on for a while.

Another thing that bugs me is how a victory can be lost or won based on your """ ability """ to get an assist trophy or final smash. It reminds me of mario cart when luck often decides if you win. Since people tend to overinterpret my posts I ask you not to reply to this and rather just think about it.

I might try moving the wireless router and see if that gets the lag.

I actually felt the AI was more stupid this time around :P

And that super hammer pickup? Pure win! its so funny d:

Edit: @ Link_1000

I hate to say this but the poll is pointless and that was the point with it, but thanks for pointing out.

ya, i disagree to, the online has a 50% chance of lag, but classic on insane mode so far has torn me up, if you call that easy you must be superlagging or something, but mostly the game is not to easy, you sound like someone who has not explored all the game modes yet

The game isn't too easy.. Its just you. Like others said, play random CPUs on level 9, and classic on intense. If the CPU is that easy, try humans. Online shouldn't be lagging that much for anyone any more. I've put over 50+ hours into brawling with random people online, thats more than anything else I've done in the game. Lag online in Brawl is either your connection or someone your playing. I've been playing it online since march, and its never been as bad as people make it out to be, or broken for that matter. I'd say out all the random games I've played online, only about 40% of the games had problems.

I love all the great looking animations and the havok engine. It feels realistic if you ask me, thats why people are complaining about it feeling slow, which it doesn't to me. Some characters move quicker than others. This probably had to be done to stop people from using so many cheap exploits like wave dashing ect...

I don't think that the difficulty of Brawl was disappointing; it had 5 different difficulty settings. I was disappointed, however, by the broken online, the small roster, and the fact that some ATs (Ray MK III, Isaac, Little Mac, Tingle) should have been playable instead of being an AT.

I don't think single player is easier by any means, but I do feel that in multiplayer brawls it's easier to knock some one off the stage. When me and my friends used to play melee we could get up to 400% before you could knock us off, but now you are easily smashed at 150%. But that reverses the logic that this game is slower if people die at a lower percentage...

@JAB991 - Tingle playable? Over my dead body!

the only thing that was too easy was unlocking all the characters. you can unlock every character way too fast.

The computers seem a lot harder to me, I don't get it, how's it easier?

And what you said about it feeling slower, it seems that way at first but I don't really notice any slowness when I'm having an intense one on one match.
