Yeah, I won't believe it either, but I don't know why a magazine would publicly announce that it has online when they don't actually know.

As much as I would like to believe brawl will be online, I highly doubt it. Nintendo is pretty retarded when it comes to online. I mean if Metroid Prime 3 would have online it would have probably turned into nintendos Halo, but no, there retarded.

Until it's been confirmed to not have online, then there is always hope that it will be. However, until it has been confirmed to have online, there will always be doubt to online multiplayer. But I think there will be, but I also thought Metroid Prime 3 would be online, so yeah. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right, but until it's announced on the website, I am neither.

Brawl has been confirmed to be online MANY times. In MANY interviews and press conferences. Hell, the game was first revealed when Nintendo was having a mini-press conference about the Wii's online capabilities :l

I have an ONM sitting here from the Wii's release with an interview where Sakurai says "We want to introduce new ways to play online" Meaning it WILL be online. Even if it's just online mini games or something stupid like that...

Online battle in Metroid Prime 3 would be horrible. FPS != FPA

I would just want to be able to play with my neighbors down my street. We just usually go to someones house and play SSBM until Brawl comes out.

i think that based on the game's popularity it would be a very bad move from nintendo not to add an online mode.i believe it will surely get an online mode because it will sell very well and it will help the online community of the wii become bigger.
