Hi,

Just wondering how many others out there have sent there Wii's away but to only have nintendo say theres nothing wrong with it.

Happend to me a couple weeks ago had to pay about $50 bucks, pretty pissed off gonna put the bugga on ebay.

Ive heard around the net that Wii's can overheat and be unable to play for a few days maybe that was my problem.

Cheers.

Mine has never had any problems. What happened to yours? I'd like to know to prevent it from happening to mine.

Umm it's not working so you're going to sell it on ebay? I hope you're going to say that it's not working in the item description.

Oh, you had an overheating problem? This happened to me, my Wii turned itself off after a while. I rung Ninty, and they said check if the ventilation fan runs while it's on. I grabbed a toothpick, gave the fan a nudge and viola, my problem was fixed. I'm so glad they were nice to help, saved me some money to send it up there, not to mention I'll actually have my Wii for christmas.

i had the problem of mine freezing while i played guitar hero 3. If i used star power on the last long note on "Black magic women," on medium, it would freeze and make a loud annoying noise...i couldn't even turn the wii off without unplugging it from the wall.

Nope, not yet. And that goes for my other Nintendo consoles, too.

My Wii should be getting to Nintendo tomorrow. I don't see how they'll be able tosay nothing is wrong, every game disk now gives the black "an error occurred..." screen. My unit is still under warranty though, so it isn't costing me anything either way. We'll see how it goes though.

This is an interesting story.

Ok so you called Nintendo and explained that was going on with your console

The customer service representative asked you questions to diagnose what was wrong with your Wii

The customer service representative said it needed to be sent it and sent out the mailing label for you

Once it arrived at the repair center they said that it wasn't broken and charged you

That's how it went down?

I'm very sorry to hear that.

You should contact Nintendo and explain the issue to them.
