brothers in arms: too short and few weapons?

is that true bcuz i'm planning to buy it but some say that u only get to use few weapoms ( bazooka, rifle, machine gun thing, grenades, and 2 vehicles, the recon and sherman)

is that true? and is it nice or boring? is it too short?

are there only 13 missions in total? or 13 missions for each campaign?

is it worth buying or pokemon is better?

I think that we should all wait till a playable copy is in the hands of gamers and we can decide how good/bad it is. Btw, pokemon isn't for everyone.

if you like platformers get nsmb or yoshi island if you like rpg get pokemon i have it. it lasts for a long time but it may be not for you like murdock saidsmb333

I haven't played the new pokemon games, no, but reviewers seemed to like it. I really REALLY was not impressed with New Super Mario Brothers and unless you can find it for around $15, it's not worth the money right now. It's short, easy and little more than something to pass the time when you're on the can.

Go with pokemon, or save your money and wait to see if something more to your liking is released.

No. Once you play through all the levels, which won't take long, and collect everything...which won't take long, besides some mini-games, all of which can be found in Mario 64, there is nothing left to do. NSMB has got nothing on the original Mario Triology.

You're better off getting Mario World for GBA or Yoshi's Island for DS.

The graphics is great but the game becomes too repetitive

You have some AI ally that will help you during missions but they are pretty useless.

sometimes you see them exchanging fire with the enemy but they are taking too long to even kill a single enemy soldier so its just like they are there to pretend that your not alone and you will end up killing almost everything yourself.

The funny stuff is in some cases they are already close to the enemy and they could just walk a few steps and slash the enemy, but no they insist on firing and wasting an unlimited amount of bullets and still not killing the enemy fast.

Later you will hear them I dont have bullets left bring me some! even though its unlimited...

you do all the stuff anyway, sometimes they will say that they give you a covering fire but they really dont do it.

I feel like im the only enemy that the enemy soldiers can see, because when i engage in a battle with my so called brothers i notice that all bullets,grenade,machinegun post even tanks fire ONLY at me.

nah... i have played ghost recon jungle storm in the n-gage, and based on ur opinion, i felt the same way u did. and i miss mario a lot now, i used to have super nintendo, but we gave it to our relatives bcuz i have ps1 then, seeing nsmb again makes me cry, ya really. i remember the days when me and my dad play it together, and he beat the crap out of bowser, maybe buying nsmb will bring again our close bond....sigh*

well, i have mkds, and m and l partners in time, not really interested in sm64, yoshi and peach platformers aren't really much to me...so what do u recommend?

well i guess you dont have other choices for mario games, so you should just get nsmb. After all its still a great game but just with less replay value.

ummm...is mario hoops great? bcuz they say that it feels like u play alone, bcuz ur team mates are kinda stupid.... is that true? and is pokemon a bit dissapointing? i wanted to buy it, but somethings holding me back.... like will i get bored bcuz of level grinding? is it really worth it to catch em all or game freak is just wasting my money? something like that... no offence

on the mario hoops yes it feels like your just playing alone

you only need to grind up to level 50.

the game automaticaly change your level depending on the rules you made before battling

and its alot easier to get every pokemon since you have the GTS and wi-fi.

GTS is where you put your pokemon like an auction, put what you want and wait for someone to trade it. GTS will automaticaly trade your pokemon to other people even if you have your DS turned off.

Brothers in ares is a short but good game. If u like war games, u will like this. But, the aiming may annoying at times but u will get use to itbelmont2971

Being a shooter fan, I'm LOVING "Metroid Prime: Hunters"... I have no idea why people slag on the campaign mode because to me, it's just like having "Prime" from my GC in a hand-held. Is it as graphically strong? Not quite, but hey, it's a hand-held. There might be a small control issue here or there but for the most part it's amazing. The shooting is accurate and the layout is fun, and that's what makes it a fun game in my opinion. It doesn't have to be overly lengthy, but what's there has to be GOOD.

By looking at the gameplay trailers, "Brothers In Arms" for the DS looks like it has some interesting stuff and right now that's what I'm looking for in my gaming experience - Something that's new and interesting in it's approach (even if the subject is admittedly a bit stale). I'm pro'ly gonna get this title... but then again I intend to get "GoldenEye" some day too, when it gets real cheap and I have some toss-away cash. The touch screen brings a little bit of new-oldschool control in that it's a lot like a mouse & keyboard control set-up, and after having tried to play FPS games like "Duke Nukem Advance" on my GBA (the game FAILS, BTW) games like "Hunters" are a breath of fresh air.

pokemon is a long game, and there are many fun things about the game, but it is still basically RED and BLUE; so if you loved those games, this one will suit you as well...but like i said, its not for everyone...

Yer theres quite alot and it can get quite chaotic :P

And when you do tank missions you have tank busters trying to blow up your tank which is pretty good detail :)

so the guns case is a small thing ryt? cause gameplay covers for it? what about the graphics? is it at least better than that of ps1? what about the frame rate? is it low or its like sm64 ds?

Im really enjoying it :)

even though there are only 3 guns? are there 16 missions only in total?

Even if there is only 3 guns im still having fun with it

Ive used The rifle, bazooka and sniper rifle

Ive drove a tank and jeep thing :) So far i have done about 10 missions so im not sure if there is only 16 but fro mthe 10 i have done i can tell you its fun! :)

i think i'm going to buy it instead of pokemon... but how long is one mission?

Ermmm some can be quite short, about 10 mins

But others take longer, one of the missions i was on took me ages (due to me beign stuck) :P

The controls take a bit of gettign used to but after one or two missions you get the hang of it :) And i have yet to of tried multiplayer due to none of my freinds having it :(

ya thanks, if bros in arms is similar to ghost recon jungle storm in n-gage, i will really buy it. but there are hard modes ryt? so i'll buy it! i think i've had enough pokemon

Yup You can either do the missions on normal or veteran mode

I will go through it again on veteran when ive done it on normal :)

are there many enemies? like maybe 40 a mision?

Yer theres quite alot and it can get quite chaotic :P

And when you do tank missions you have tank busters trying to blow up your tank which is pretty good detail :)

so the guns case is a small thing ryt? cause gameplay covers for it? what about the graphics? is it at least better than that of ps1? what about the frame rate? is it low or its like sm64 ds?

Im still on the first campaign, like 7 missions into it i think

Not having a massive variety of guns dosent bother me, graphics are good, many people have commented on how they are impressed with them after watching soem in game footage.

Framerate is alright :)

google it and you shold get some in game footage :)
