Since I was talking about online, the fact that the logo isn't on it is proof enough, unless that's not the final boxart which doesn't seem to be the case.

And they don't seem to mention it on the official site, only saying the different multiplayer modes but no mention of online play and wouldn't the Wi-Fi logo be shown at the bottom of the main page:

And since the trailer is the most recent media we got on the game and the box at the end of it doesn't have the logo, I'm still saying it doesn't have it until proven otherwise. There probably was plans for online play but I'm starting to think they decided to scrap it for whatever reason. I hope I'm wrong.
