Now Bungie has said before that they were thinking of even developing Halo on the DS.Wouldnt it be aswome if Nintendo got Bungie at its best. I mean MS got Rare and now Rare is on an innovate-less console not doing so hot.

I think Bungie could really make a great FPS on Wii.

OF course this rumor is not likely because Halo wars is still being developed by Bungie.

Halo Wars is being developed by Ensemble Studios, not Bungie.

Microsoft OWNS Bungie. They can't just leave. Read the Rumor Control article on Gamespot.

Yep Bungie aren't doing Halo Wars so this could well be true, and I don't see them going to PS3 unless they want to go out of business, that leaves either handhelds, mulitplatform games or Wii only games, hopefully its either multiplatform or Wii only, that way Wii'd get a game, which frankly would be awesome. Bungies should make a Wii only fps/sword game similar to Red Steel but like in space or something, and they could make it rated T it'd sell so many copies.

Man imagine if Retro Studios and Bungie works together and makes a FPS on the WII that is far greater than Halo.

Just because they're leaving Microsoft doesn't mean there are automatically going to make games for the Wii.

No but they aren't just going to abandon making games and what better console than Wii, I mean like I said there are only really 3 choices, handheld only, which I don't see happening, multiplatform which is the biggest possiblity and Wii only which is another big possiblity because of how well it's selling and how much money they could make if they released a killer ap for Wii.

http://blogs.ign.com/Matt-IGN/2007/10/02/67886/ Halo on DS in case anyones interested.

Bungie isn't going anywhere, any more than Retro is leaving Nintendo.

Microsoft could own Bungie and their IPs but the developers could say bye-bye to Microsoft.

Well according to this link they are co developing Halo Wars,I dont know???

http://games.ign.com/objects/025/025170.html

Also if Bungie left MS then going to Nintendo would be the next logical step. I never said they were going to, nor did I say they were leaving MS. This is just hypothetical but also very interesting.

I think they could make a serieously aswome sci fi shooter on Wii as long as Nintendo give them a good budget and alot of time just like MS did.

True, like With one of the Rare devs who left to make his own studio called Ninja something....(they're making a wii game!)

It could also be possible that one of the Bungie people leave MS and make their own company...that's what a lot of pro devs are doing

Bungie as a whole doesn't matter, it's the people who make it up that means something.

While Microsoft owns Bungie they have no hold on the people who make it up. Chances are that now with the hoopla gone and the handwriting on the wall when it comes to Microsoft development some of the parts of Bungie might decide to leave.

It's the same deal when Clover broke apart and the peices went various places, the same thing is going to happen to Bungie. The nice thing for Microsoft is that most people don't look deeper then the brand name so as long as it's still called Bungie no one will care what's under the hood.

Honestly don't get me wrong... I love the Halo franchise... and Bungie is an exceptional company...

But if you look at their records of past games, I don't see anything worth while besides the Halo franchise. And they basically became as big as they are now thanks to Microsofts investment in PR since the xbox days.

Halo 3 despite being extremely fun is kinda out of date in terms of shooting mechanics compared to the other FPSes coming out.

Now if Epic made an FPS for the Wii... that would definitely be something!

I dont think Bungie would come work for Nintendo, or Sony, but they could posibly leave Microsoft and work for multiple consols. Although they are doing great with the xbox360 so i dont know. Halo Wii and DS would be cool, DS would have to bad a graphix though, its not good with FPS. But they said that befor the Wii was out so maybe a Halo Wii would be a posibility, and would be awsome.
