I was just wondering if its worth buying a ds lite. I already have the older ds, and i was thinking if a ds lite was worth getting. I am not planning on trading in my old ds because the stores will give me $20 at best. What are the differences between the two outside of size and weight? Battery life? Screen brightness? thanks for your help in advance.
If you have the money go for it! I have both and it's amazing what a difference the DS Lite makes. On the other hand I have pretty big hands and play the DS Phat most of the time!
If you have money and no games that you want are coming out in the near future, go an buy it! It is much better all-around. Longer Battery life, noticable weight difference, and much brighter screen.
Yup, it's a huge upgrade from DS to DS Lite. Smaller, better looking, nicer screen, amazing backlight (which really helps), longer battery life, weight difference... I would go for it if I didn't have a Lite from the start.
It's silly to buy a DS Lite if there's nothing wrong with your DS. How about instead of buying a sleeker but more breakable model of the same thing, why don't you just go out and buy 3 brand new DS games?
the only difrince is DS lite is cooler looking and smaller. why waste your money on another DS when you already have a DS.Jdog30
You forgot other things. It's much brighter, the battery is much longer, the stylus is longer, d-pad is like the Wii's(smooth, and feels nice to use), weights a lot less. It's not really a must have upgrade. But maybe you should try one out.See if it persuades you
