well i was wondering if theres any chance that my new ds lite will get a crack? has nintedo fix this problem with the lites?famousking
Ive read someone post that the cracks were only a problem with the first manufactured DS Lites. Your future DS should be flawless. Im getting one soon too!! HIGH FIVE!!
Ummm I had several brand new DS's this month with the crack. But don't worry about it, first off, you probably won't even notice it unless you specifically look for it, and second of all, the Nintendo customer service is great.
It's BS, i got my DS lite the day right after christmas (dec 26 2006) and it developed a crack. I am so gentle with my DS lite, and i dont know how the cracks developped... It all BS dont listen to anybody here telling you that it will be flawless..
I got mine on New Year's Eve, and no cracks whatsoever even after a really close inspection. (I do notice dust though. Tsk.) For those who still have cracks, maybe it's all a matter of luck?
Even if you do get a crack, Nintendo has great customer service and will replace it. Just keep in mind that the crack is really small and does not affect the DS's performance.
I've never gotten a crack in my lite. I've even dropped my lite on hardwood floor and tile(which made me freak! twice in the same day) but not even a scratch.
