last time i went to walmart, i saw like 5 wiis there. and they probably had more in the back too. it was like at 4 pm toodeathxxsharkThe problem with this is that it's where you live, it could be a completely different story where the TC lives. As for me, in the area of the Silicon Valley I live in it's still pretty hard to get one from comments I hear from people I know that are looking for one. I have yet to see one in shelves at any store I go to. Sure, there are announcements for bundles and what not, but even those are gone fast.
Well, Shop.net was no help. But thanks. But I noted that gamestop.com has a lower priced bundle, $350 plus, shipping 9/21/07. That is better than the Walmart and Gamestop's last bundle of over $500. Still, where is this $250 Nintendo promised? There is no "low" cost Wii you can give as a gift. It is so frustrating. Good for Nintendo. Bad for the Wallet!MonstromoUnfortunately, that whole thing about the bundles is out of Nintendo's hands (unless they have some secret deal with retailers.) The retailers make their own bundle deals, as you know, this is so they can sell more and gain profit. Specially with something as popular as Wii. This is something akin to stores charging more for things like water, batteries and other necessities after some sort of disaster (you wouldn't believe the prices some items took after the San Francisco quake of '89) It just translates to taking advantage of the situation with something scarce, like the whole farce with the gas prices.
