Wow you must be rich, if you want to buy nintendo.O_o Lol, j/k. Well, thats the basic stuff, if you dont want to see too much info: DS phat: Oldest version of them all. Not recommended. DS lite: Middle DS version. Recommended if you care for Gameboy Advance games and money is a problem for you. DSi: Newest DS version. Recommended if money is not a problem for you, if you dont care for Gameboy Advance games and wants something that feels better on your hand. In-depth stuff for more information (comparing the three DS models): DS phat: pros: -The cheapest DS model. -Best D-pad. cons: -Hard to find it new on stores (only used). -Somewhat hard to find repair support for it. -Lack of brightness settings. -Lower battery life. -Bigger and heavy. DS lite pros: -Standard DS to play games. -Good battery life -Screen has 4 settings of brightness -Able to play Gameboy Advance games. cons: -Weak hinges is a common problem. DSi: Pros: -Two built-in cameras, the external has 3MP and the internal has 0.3MP -Slighty bigger screens -Built-in OS system. -Able to hotswap games. -Better speakers. -Faster internet connection for DSi exclusive stuff. -Matte finish feels more soft. -Better hardware -DSi ware shop -DSi enhanced/only cards (currently there is few of them, possibly more on the future.) Cons: -More expensive than the other two. -Tiny scratches or fingerprints on the matte finish are noticeable. -Not able to play Gameboy Advance. Many people will tell you whats best to get. I say you should look at this info and judge yourself.

Excellent job covering that. That pretty much has everything you need to know. Personally, I'd buy a DS Lite instead of the other 2 choices.

And honestly, I'd get a DSi because you'd be getting more for youre buck and won't miss out on any future DSi-only games. =)

Why are you considering DS Phat.Buy DS Lite or DSi. If you like to play GBA games buy DS Lite otherwise DSi.

The DS Phat also has less battery life than the DS Lite. So it is all-around not a good choice buying Phat anymore. :P DS Lite or DSi. Depends on what you want game and feature-wise.

One more Pro for the DSi -screen has 6 settings of brightness and One Con lower battery life. But it makes up for it with shorter recharge time.
