Hello there, I'm very interested in getting a Wii but I don't know of ot is a good idea to buy it right now or later. I mean, when are the new colors being released, are there any news about that? and another thing, Is Nintendo going to release a second version of the Wii with more features like DVD playbck or another interesting thing? I hope you can help me to decide, thanks in advance.

and also, despite the rumours of an updated wii with DVD playback, I strongly doubt it. Even if it is, do you realy need DVD playback from a games console??? That is likely to be the only new feature.
In my opinion, there's no need to wait for new colors, or a Wii that can play DVDs. It's not even safe to say that we'll ever see those things. A console is all about the games, though. If you're buying a Wii now, you will probably feel like you need more games shortly thereafter, which you can't get, since there aren't a lot of good ones out right now. You might want to wait for some better games before you get the Wii.
Wii is a great console. I can't seem to find it anywhere, though, so I'm just going to wait a few months before buying one.
As for the color issue, you could always just buy a skin for it. And as for the DVD playback issue...well, every console's gotta have a downside, right? :| I would wait until E3 and hopefully Nintendo announces one with DVD playback, since it'd only make sense as the Wii uses DVD discs for its games.Â
