Who's getting one day 1?

I'm gonna try my best to get one at launch. But It'll depend on what the launch titles are and what's coming out in the months following, and most importantly what exclusives are hitting in that time. I mean it's great to see Nintendo getting 3rd party support, I've been wanting them to have it for a long time, but I will be able to play Aliens: Colonial Marines, Assassin's Creed III and Darksiders II on my 360/PS3, and SSB while great to see, is also coming to the 3DS and it'll be a while before we see anyway, so the only 100% confirmed exclusive game that could ship at launch is Pikmin 3, which while I love the series, it's not really one I will rush out to buy a brand new system for. Guess Nintendo's E3 conference will make up my mind for me.
Not me. I have too many 3DS games to buy this year + Xenoblade and The Last Story, and I have to pay for my AP Exams (each one is around $80) and study for my SAT.
I'll get a Wii U next year. :P
I don't buy any hardware until it has an absolute system seller for me. On the Wii it was New Super Mario Bros, on the 3DS it was Mario Kart 7 and Fire Emblem. Eagerly anticipating what Nintendo comes out with that makes me "MUSTHAVE" the Wii U :)

No lie, a new Pikmin would actually be a really big reason for me to pick it up, I missed out on the first two games because I didn't have a GCN... I should really pick up the New Play Control shouldn't I? :o
Actually what would probably be the single biggest system seller for me:
I LOVE Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, I wan't a new DKCR so bad :)
Theres not a single game that I'm aware of that is confirmed at launch that I would run out to buy a system for so for the meantime I'm hardly excited for the new console.
Fixed.Launch day is the most fun part.......I will go to a launch event like they held for 3DS.....

Sucks that your school doesn't pay for the AP exam.
Anyone think that Retro will have a launch presence?
If it has a Good Virtual Console like the Wii, and it isn't $450+ ... Then yea, we will get it as close to day one as we can.
Mainly gonna play Wii games (and VC games) on it first though, maybe a few WiiU games, but there won't even be that many for a while yet. It will give us time to play some of the generation we missed, and older games we want to play.
Darksiders II is supposed to be a launch title for the WiiU. I got the (someone what lacking port) of the first one on PC, the port was bad, but the game was great. I throughly enjoyed Darksiders (played with razer onza controller) and I am looking forward to Darksiders II, so it will probably be one of the first WiiU titles we get.
I just hope there will be a new WiiU exclusive 007 game that will utilize the Tablet controller in awesome/creative/fun ways. So much potential. It is one of the first franchise that I think of when I see that tablet controller for the WiiU.
As soon as there is a release date I'm reserving it so I can get it on release day.
Nintendo releases there stuff on Sundays so I'll probably take Monday off from work too.
There has to be at least 2 must have games at launch. Nintendo Wii U has to make creative use of that second screen on that tablet controller.
Since Nintendo is changing up the control scheme this is a system that needs a killer app to show off that tablet controller. $350.00 is the limit that the Wii U can sell for and be a success. This system won't hit the $250.00 price point at launch.
I will have to really be impressed to buy Wii U on day one.
It depends on the price and games available at launch. Getting it just for the sake of having it early seems pretty stupid to me.
If there's a really compelling piece of software to go with it, I'll bite.
Smash Bros. with a working internet multiplayer portion, F-Zero with the same, a new starfox (I can dream), or something of that nature.
I'm not buying one till there are enough compelling games to warrant a purchase. This is the reason why I still don't have a 3DS.
