A game like this would bring a mass of players who love online FPS on to the Wii.

Perfecting the controls and having online would really make an awesome game for the Wii.

Since Activision just made an announcement they were gonna beat out Nintendo games (http://wii.ign.com/articles/793/793427p1.html), I am hoping this means they are gonna work hard on a Call of Duty for the Wii.

Post any rumors or ideas of CAll of Duty coming for Wii a second time.

CoD3 came out on Wii and was at least moderately successful. There was a CoD on Gamecube as well. Why would the next iteration not be on the Wii? There are no ideas/rumors about CoD4 at all, let alone about the Wii version, as far as I am aware.

I am saying it could be a great game on the Wii, but we are missing out on it.

Come on guys, linky linky. http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/902/902590.html Oh yeah, I do remember seeing that. Well, the rest of my statement stands. I see no reason the game wouldn't come out on the Wii.

Yeah the WW2 thing is getting stale but this is set in modern combat, some of the press have also said its the best FPS they've ever seen.

Who said that? I want to stop reading whatever publication made that statement. The game is in its early stages of development...you can't make that kind of judgment this early.

I loved the first call of duty on ps2, but that was enough for me, these combat games are really being saturated onto the market and people are going to get burned out, I've seen the screens for the game and read the preview for it in GI, but I just can't get excited for call of duty games, and graphics just aren't doing it for me as much anymore.

It'll probably be on all platforms.  I mean they announced Guitar Hero III for the other systems first then added that it would be made for the Wii as well.  So I'm sure it will be announced on the Wii eventually.  Think about it most gamers have a Wii not a PS3 or X360 so why cut out most of the market???  They'd be killing their revenue.

it was game informer. and they didnt say this is the best fps they've ever seen. it was "this is the most intense fps we've ever seen"

i read the article, and by the way it sounds, it will be fantastic.

btw, Infinity Ward is developing this, Treyarch developed COD3, so IW has been doing this game since after COD2. In fact, in the article it states that the files for COD4 are all named COD3, because IW feels unhappy about cod3.

hows that for alot of acronyms

I also agree. COD might be getting old (the modern warfare will be a nice change) but the online is always awesome.
