The pre-level loads are also the game's FMV story-driving sequences. The music is inspiring, the story hits home in a pretty brutal, historically-accurate way, and it lives up to its M rating.

8.0 Graphics
The actual model detail and animations aren't always too hot, and environments are a bit inconsistent in overall quality, but the particle effects, smoke, lighting, and geometry make up for it.

8.5 Sound
Kiefer Sutherland - the voice of Jack Bauer - does a great job, as do the supporting troops. Music is inspired and cinematic as well, with weapon audio also torn from the other versions.

7.0 Gameplay
While the actual control could be much stronger, and the frame-rate isn't even a locked 30, the game's diversity in missions, and overall offering as a package trumps most FPS efforts on Wii.

8.0 Lasting Appeal
Multiplayer is nice, but deathmatch only. Challenges, perks, weapons, levels and leaderboards are in, though co-op campaign, objective modes, vehicles, and zombie mode aren't. Online runs well though.

OVERALL 8.0

Looks like Metroid still reigns supreme as the best FPS on the Wii.

They don't make it sound very good. A broken game with broken controls with an overall lack of polish, but some redeeming qualities here and there give it an 8.0?

It didn't sound broken at all. Some modes are absent compared to the HD versions, the graphics aren't as good (obviously). The controls aren't as good as MoH:H2, but that game had the best controls of any console fps up to date. You didn't even had to use sights and people were strafing-killing un-like any other fps i have played. Slightly less accurate controls are good imo (from my experience with MoH:H2 and CoD4). I hope this make the game more tactical.

No, slightly less accurate controls is called not as good.

One of the things that i didn't liked in MoH:H2 was that sights-aiming was useless (unlike CoD4 PC) and it was relative easy to use grenades as one hit-kill precision weapons, the controls were that good.

ive yet to play cod5 but im sure the game has its merits. ill purchase down the line as im gonna need something to hold me off until sega gives me a release date on 'the conduit':P

I actually tried to come with some way to use that Gene Wilder vid to tie in with the xbox 360 but couldn't quite make it work. Then I saw this vid and yeah, that was really easy to do :P:P

That's disappointing.... It's not a bad score, but there are other games I want.

I may just wait for the Conduit, to be my next FPS.

It's essentially a Mario Galaxy co-op type of thing. It's on rails too, I believe.

guy 1: k so big problem -- Wii is selling a lot, huge userbase, potential monies can be made!
guy 2: make a quick port?
guy 1: Yes! Get the PR guy to claim how the game will use the COD4 engine, oh dont forget to tell him to say it'll be a game that truly shows off the Wii's graphical ability AND control ability

guy 2: well the game is done, but the controls need some fine tuning, graphics could be better, frame rate could be better
guy 1: **** it, we need to release it for christmas to make monies!!!! RELEASE IT IN ITS CURRENT FORM!
