Call of Duty World at War on Wii?

I am not the Wii enthusiast. My 360 got the red ring again, and while it was gone I was thinking of getting World at War on Wii. I love it on 360, but I was wondering if it's worth getting on Wii.

I was also wondering if the online play is any good.

It's definitely worth trying for the controls. I believe the campaign is pretty much the same but the online was gimped (missing a few maps and a few modes, only 8 players, and no vehicles). Online is definitely fun, but could have been better.

what he said. If you are not interested in the controls then I'm pretty sure you won't be interested in the Wii version.

The second best controlling console FPS. I only use hips-aiming in Hardcore mode ;) .

Sure, the PC version is better, but the PS/360 version have terrible controls and my PC doesn't belong in my living room where I want to play. The Wii does, and there is something that's just plain satisfying about using a controller in an FPS that you hold like you're actually carrying a gun instead of a goofy analog controller or a weapon that's permanently on a bipod or tripod (mouse). Pick your poison -- seriously gimped controls or a somewhat gimped game. Neither is ideal, but that's what we were given.

I haven't played it on 360 so I can't compare the two, but I recommend the Wii version. It has great controls, hassle-free online, and is good fun all round.

compared to the other versions online sucks, but for the wii its probably the best online game IMO. it got watered down to not having vehicles, no co-op online, a few maps, only 8 people can play, only two modes of game play (one on one or teams (which is free for all, veterans, TDM and hardcore TDM)), no voice chat (not that important but still) and no HDD means no updates, no new maps or modes and no patches. So if you just want to play TDM or one on one then its still great to play, but dont be dissapointed if what you find is terrible compared to the 360 version :)

No, do not get it. Why would you buy 2 copies of the same game? However if your 360 will never be fixed, trade in WaW(360) for WaW(Wii).

I've been playing both versions bc my wii is broken right now and my friend has a 360.

let me say being a wii owner only i was blown away by the 360's presentation, its amazing and immersive

but as good as that is. It is not as fun as playing with a wii remote Especially the online. Discussion over.
