Can hacked pokemon go on wifi?

So I was playing my friend at school with my hacked pokemon, he lost and he told me that hacked pokemon are banned on wifi and that your DS will be banned from wifi somehow if they found out. So is it true? Cuz im scared to go on wifi now, btw my pokemans are lvl 50s so i dont want to start a new game with legit pokemon :(neroburner52

I don't think you will be banned, but you can't use them, i believe

Wifi bans all badly hacked Pokemon, IIRC.

So, underlevel legendaries, hacked movesets, stats surpassing a species maximum in said stat, etc. are banned.

Hacking Pokemon is wrong anyway. Same with using Flashcarts and ROMs.

Hacking Pokemon sucks all the fun out of games; Flashcarts and ROMs, when used illegally, help destroy the gaming industy.

actually if it got accepted into the gaming industry it could be a great thing. it would show the true capabilitys on some devices.
