I can't seem to locate such a thing. I am strongly considering it for my next handheld after my psp, but I want to look for things other than the latest pokemon chartreuse platidiamond uranium ore edition. thanks!

[QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"]M-rated does not mean good...Rod90He is probably a 13-year old teenager, don't waste energy. Just 13? :P Anyways... I'm sure Super Mario 3D Land is M-rated. The killings of Goombas or Roombellas or whatever the hell they're called and brutality in it is, as Keith Lunley put it, "enough to make a grown man cry."
Well if you really want it, this is a complete list of released games with an M-Rating...

You get crushed, drowned, eaten etc in that one. Bowser's skin also melts off his body right in the beginning of the game!!(That really was a WTF moment for me all those years ago.)

Well initially I just went by 16+ games as in the UK games are rated by ages rather than ratings. All of the above games are 16+, but only the ones below are M-rated.
Driver renagde
Metal gear solid snake eater
Resident evil: the merceneries
Resident evil: Revelations
And how in the heck is Splinter Cell an M-rated game? I'd put it T at most.Spinnerweb
It turned out it is T, I'm just not used to the letter rating system as It's not used over here in the UK :P

Or a close minded "mature games for mature gamers such as myself" type.
As a matter of fact, I am in my early 30s and when it comes down to dropping $250 on a Vita or $170 on a 3DS I want to know that I am going to have more interesting games than Papercut Mario Yoshi's Banana Split Sunshine Pokealuminum XIIII to play. I saw the Resident Evil and MGS games and thought, hey there might be some more interesting ones out there. That is why I asked for a list. My console history:
Atari 2600
Genesis
Game Gear
Dreamcast
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
Gameboy Advance SP
Xbox
PS2
Xbox 360
PS3
PSP
DSi (briefly)
iPhone (it really actually does count)
Right now for the PSP I have: Wipeout Pure, Rock Band Unplugged, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, SOCOM FTB 2, and a bunch of PSOne classics.
I understand. You need super hardcore mature games for the hardcore person you are. You gotta prove how super hardcore you are and Mario doesn't have nudity or gore so those games aren't hardcore enough. Well good luck on your quest to prove to all your bros how awesomely hardcore you are with your mature rated games. The rest of us will be playing games based on how fun they are.As a matter of fact, I am in my early 30s and when it comes down to dropping $250 on a Vita or $170 on a 3DS I want to know that I am going to have more interesting games than Papercut Mario Yoshi's Banana Split Sunshine Pokealuminum XIIII to play. Yes, honestly Pokemon and Mario are more fun then "hardcore/rated M" games to me. I'm in my 30s as well and don't care what a game's rated, only if it's good or not. Having said that, a choice between the 3DS and Vita also has to factor in a memory card for the Vita as it's useless without one. Also factor in that you own a 360 and PS3 so most of the Vita games out this year will also be available for your consoles, and in some cases cheaper. The Vita is a far better piece of tech than the 3DS. It's also pretty barren in terms of games worth playing, let alone unique games. The 3DS is janky, hardware-wise, but its games are pretty solid - so long as you're comfortable enough with playing games that you can stomach a Mario game where you stomp on koopas rather than eviscerate aliens with a chainsaw. So if you want more interesting games and a cheaper hardware investment, go for the 3DS. If you want generic M-rated console port fodder, get a Vita.As a matter of fact, I am in my early 30s and when it comes down to dropping $250 on a Vita or $170 on a 3DS I want to know that I am going to have more interesting games than Papercut Mario Yoshi's Banana Split Sunshine Pokealuminum XIIII to play. ESRB only gave 5 3DS games an M rating.

A member since 2003 and only level 7, ok.
Omg dude, mature does not equal violence. You do know there are R rated movies without violence right?VindibuddMovies are not games. A game rated M for things besides violence is extremely rare.
...you can only kill and blow up so much before it gets old.YoshiYogurtUnless you're playing Mercenaries 2. That game never gets old. And OP- you may have noticed that flashing your credentials doesn't usually get you too far around here. If you're looking for pokemon/mario free reasons to buy a 3ds, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Amazing Spiderman, Heroes of Ruin(best online features on a handheld to date), and there'll be more on the way. And no, mobile gaming does NOT count. EDIT: and if you're going to throw roman numerals around, please get them right. I know you were trying to make a point, but it's just annoying to look at.
Goo goo ga ga! :Panother guy that thinks he is too mature to play E-rated games.
yea bro...your a real man...we are all just babies.

A games a game. Whether you like jumping on goombas or blowing off zombie heads, it's the players own opinions. saying "M rated games are getting old" is too broad of a term, there's more than just your average FPS involved within that spectrum (those of which are becoming over-excessive).
Just because you play an 'M' rated game doesn't mean you think your a tough, hardcore gamer. If you buy a console, you want to be able to get the games you want for it right? Besides, I don't think someone would pay $170 on a console clearly not aimed to the 'Mature' market, just to prove a point that they're 'awesomely hardcore'.
Edit: and to OP, iPhone does not count at all. That argument can be left for another time, but that's the stupidest thing anyone can say ever.
Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater
Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D
Resident Evil: Revelations
Driver Renegade 3DS
Ninja Gaiden 3DS (TBA)
Bloodrayne: The Shroud (TBA)
There really aren't that many as the console is aimed towards a different audience, but the ones that are there are really good, and will take up hours of your time. I thought I should mention the upcoming ones I know of so that you could keep an eye out for them.
