Like....any games from Mario Kart, to Call of Duty, to Metroid.

My question: Can action replay be used to cheat in online wifi games?

I think you talking about local wifi multiplayer? Because i don't have see any Nintendo DS game where you can connect over internet with peoples who are not same room (same wifi area) with you..

Yes you can...it say it takes away the fun though..well it depends on which cheats you use. Using cheats like Infinite Turns(Ran into someone using this on Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon) just takes the fun away from the games..for both players

I've run into people playing Mario Kart online that have used cheats,and I agree that it takes away from the experience for all the players including the one that cheats.I use AR codes,but only when I'm playing the game by myself.I don't use them playing multiplayer or online.That's why I stopped playing MK online(except with my close friends who don't cheat)....because of the cheaters.I don't think it's cool at all to use AR codes online :(

Yeah that's exactly what I'm sayinig, it takes away from the honor of playing and achieving your own rankings online. I've seen people do some impossible things.

Just wondering if it is true though, that is all.

Is it true with all games?

Before you accuse someone, I am complaining about the same thing as you are. I ran into people that (MAY) be using this device, and I want it to stop. I was just woundering if they are truely that good, or, in fact, they just use some cheating device. Finding an answer in forums these days is getting harder and harder.

He just assumed that it was banned for some reason... The other ones fine, I just wanted another account....

How should I rephrase the question? What would you say? The whole point of the topic was to find out if people are cheating online. Geez it took so many posts and 2 pages to figure that out? COMMON!

Yes you can, before mine broke, I was able to use a cheat on phantom hourglass that allowed you to never die online, and I was playing mario kart today and someone had a speed cheat. BUT, don't do it (when I did it it was just a test run) it makes the game extremely annoying and unfair, and causes tons of people to leave too
