Can you play Re4 on wii and how are the controls?

Can you play Re4 on wii and how are the controls...also what are some good wii games because i am very interested in buying one but I would like to know of some good games and if you can play Re4 with the wii mote and how the controls are.

the controls are awesome!!! the wii-mote is a perfect fit for RE4. Nintendo told Capcom that whenever the wii comes out, they would add wii-mote and nunchuck support to the game!!! it's like they saw over a year into the future or something! way better than on the GC. I think GS will rate the wii version on Tuesday. yoourrmoom

Good considering you play it on the GC controller

RE4 is not programmed to use the wiimote because it was made before the console existed, it can be played on Wii, just not with the wiimote.

There are lots of good games coming out though, including Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles which features RE4 like gameplay.

Actually you can use the wiimote to play RE4.  And it works flawlessly everytime.

To use the wiimote to play RE4 ---- point at the gamecube disc in the top left channel of the Wii's main menu.

Select that channel by pressing A.

Then lay the wiimote beside you, and pick up the gamecube controller.

Taaa Daaaa... you used the wiimote to play RE4.  Simple actually, as I use my wiimote to play GC games on a daily basis, and the steps above work for each GC game.

Wait I just had an idea. Why didn't they make the GC controler work with the Wii version? It could have been done and added support for players that didnt like using the Wii remote.zaku101

It does work with the Wii version. while your playing the game unplug the nunchuck then plug in your gamecube controller.
