Can you still use the trial version of the Wii browser?

Hmm... apparently, I'm updating the browser for free. Unless there's some other way to do this, I went to WiiWare and clicked on "Update" on the trial version of the browser, and it said 0 points, so.. :PJustPlainLucas

Well... now I got a problem. I can't seem to use the browser at all. I can use the News, Weather and Shop channels, but everytime I try to go to any site, even Nintendo.com, it says it "Can't Connect to Remote Server." Any ideas? :?JustPlainLucas

The only thing I can think of is clear out the cache and try again.

Very, very odd. I switched the connectin from my wireless router to my USB Wi-Fi connector and the internet channel works just fine now.... :? There's something about the Wii connecting directly with my router that doesn't let it communicate with any websites. Again, I go :?.JustPlainLucas

You know how to get it working with your wireless router? Try unhooking the power to your router, and hook it back up. For some reason, the wii just will not stay connected. It'll work with news and weather, but the internet thing has some problems still.

What I would do is this. Unplug the router and get rid of your wireless setting on the Wii. Then plug the router back in and do the settings over in the Wii.

If that doesn't work then you might have to give Nintendo a ring.
