Can you transfer data from one 3DS to another?

If I ever decide to buy another 3DS some day, can I transfer my downloaded games and virtual console from the 3DS shop, along with my Miis and other data I've saved on my current 3DS onto a new 3DS? Or will I have to start from scratch?

I think you can with the latest firmware update: Linky. Transferring games to 3DS > How to transfer software from one 3DS to another.

Not sure but i think it's possible, since you can play game via wireless connetion, it's possible to transfer data Curious about this too so, if you have any information about this, please put them in the post and i will check it back

There is a limit though, to how many titles you can transfer; when I checked it out, it said:

Transfers remaining for this system: 5.
