Can't Decide, Can't Decide

Ok so I know this has probably been done to death but I'm a fairly avid gamer looking tp purchase a handheld. I can't decide because I have owned both and liked them both. Also there is aspects that intrigues me about both.

For the DS:
- I love the Idea of playing SNES ****cs on it (Chrono trigger, FFVI make me extremley happy)

- Im a rpg buff and they seem to have quite a few good ones

- I love brain age games

- Dont like the seemingly younger level of the system

- THe touch screen doesnt really appeal to me

For the PSP:

- Love the amount of Strategy, RPG and fighting games to keep me entertained

- some very entertaining 3rd party games

- the price is lowering because its kinda bombing

- HATE UMD discs

- I wont use it for watching movies/music

- The battery life (or lack there of) makes me sad

If anyone would give me some feedback so I can get the subtle push one way or the other I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

nintendo rules the handhelds and they always have

by what you've said, neither.

doesn't sound like you're interested in the unique features of the handhelds, stick to your consoles.

I agree DS does have better games. PSP has a few gems though.

Haha, but really, I have both a GS and a PSP, and while I like certain aspects of both of them, I play my DS more. A LOT more. There's just a great blend of casual, hardcore, and innovative (and sometimes a mixture of the two :)) games for the DS. So yeah, I'd go for the DS. But don't get me wrong, the PSP's good and all, I just think that the DS is more well rounded gaming platform.
