Can't find the new Colbalt Black DS

The DS has been sold out for well over a year now at most retailers

A good thing to do is check stores online and select purchase in store, if they have one buy it then and just pick it up. That way one is held for you.

sold our for over a year??? i saw them everyday until xmas came around now i dont see them as much but i did see around 7 cobalt ds's at my local bestbuy but that was earlier this month i believe

Unfortunately that's not the case in most places.

Stores are sold out of white and black and most stores are missing pink as well (but that's still the color you'll find most times)

The reason you see the cobalt ones is because they're the ones that were most recently shipped.

I gave been looking in the local Wal-Mart and Kmart for months and I can't even remember the last time I saw a DS there. So yeah it's definitely tricky to find 'em.

I bought my Cobalt from my local Best Buy store as well... and they had a few extras, so I'm going to assume that Best Buy bought a fair amount of them. So, yeah, Best Buy is a good place to check :P

when i got my wii and ds they were just there like a whole bunch i dont understand how ppl can say its hard to find it just look in the right places and wala!!! lol well the wii is hard to find cuz my friend is been looking for one for like ages lol
