cant get past the first real enemy on puzzle quest??

i just bought this game and after the dummy and train against an enemy. i just get owned hardcore, i keep battleing him but keep losing. i think im at like 0/8 with this guy. really pissing me off. was it a bad idea to start a warrior?

nope, warrior is a good choice, better than what i chose, took the silly knight. bloody useless if you ask me

anyway, the game is quite hard to begin with so i suggest you level up first. then it will get a little easier as you go on. but its really tough at first if you didnt make any effort to level up or upgrade your character

I'm using a knight, and she's not entirely useless to me.
The only times I have lost was when I tried a siege on one of the capitals.

Anyway, don't jump into the missions straight away.
Take your time to gain experience and money with the random battles.
Build your own citadel, especially the one which allows you to improve your skills in return for gold.

Also, the battles can be quite luck-based, and not entirely based on your skills in playing Bejeweled.
