Can't say I'm all that impressed.

I gotta say, I'm not impressed by WiiU all that much. I'm not looking forward to being forced into playing with terrible dual analog controls again. They're archaic and an awful way to control just about anything. I'm not looking forward to the death of motion controls. To me it feels like motions controls were barely explored and mostly wasted. But now that the wiimote is not the standard controller, no developer on Earth is going to bother with it.

When nintendo showed the wiimote, my mind raced with ideas and potential. WiiU seems to do none of that for me.

They didn't even talk about the console its slef. Is there one? Is this supposed to be used with the wii? What?

They showed lots of use of the Wiimote in the conference. So not sure why you are concerned. I assume both will options.
