[QUOTE="Silos911"]If people want Megaman Legends 3, not buyingCapcom products is the right thing to do. Instead of just saying, "We want this game," you say "We won't buy any of your games until you release Megaman Legends 3," Makes developers take more notice. But you still need very, very large numbers to even get that to work, big enough numbers where Capcom actually notices effects in sales.

Actually buying MM Legends games when they released before would have done it.
Simply put, buying games is the only way to make devs make the games you want. Boycotting other quality products won't do anything. Infact, it'll just make fans of those boycotted games end up mad at Capcom years later when Dragon's Dogma doesn't get its sequel due to people not buying it when they should have.
We can't take back the poor decisions of gamers past. If the "hardcore" gamers in the 90's didn't go nuts for MM Legends with their wallets, we have no option other than to wait and be at Capcom's beck and call for when and if MM Legends 3 sees the light of day.
It's better to move on and live with it.
they did not make megaman legends 3. Therefore, im disapointed at capcom. Thus, I lost my trust to their reputation of cancelling the game. Not just simply boycotting capcom because of only megaman legends 3 but because I don't like the company anymore therefore, I'd rather not buy their products until they make megaman legends 3 only then they will regain my trust back. No megaman legends 3, no support for them. That is my condition.
Don't you see how counter-intuitive that is? You aren't getting Legends 3 for some time. So what? If you decide to not buy say, Resident Evil: Raccoon City and a lot of people follow you than we won't get more experimental RE's and Capcom will be forced to stick with "Oh, Wesker's still out there!" single player games. Not enough? Alright, if people like you actually make an impact on Dragon's Dogmas, then Capcom will be hesistant to try a new IP anytime soon.
You're just setting yourself to be angry for longer and to help facilitate more angry gamers. Besides, boycotting a hard working team of developers games just because they happened to be published by Capcom isn't fair to them at all, or their families who rely on the sales of those games for future projects.
Slant Six could theoritically pull off a great third person shooter in Resident Evil: Raccoon City, and Ninja Theory could actually pull off a terrific reboot of DMC. You never know, and boycotting them will stop you from playing good games from good people who are trying very hard to give you fun experiences.
Like I said, it isn't Capcom's fault it got cancelled. It's a business and guess what? It's just like in sports when a good player gets cut from a team because he makes more money than he's worth or he gets traded. It's a business and best to not take it personal. It isn't a good business decision to release since it would likely fail to sell as well as it would need to to recoup dev costs. No one can be blamed more than the people who didn't buy the previous Legends games, as had they bought it in bigger amounts perhaps it'd be a more established IP.
Capcom as a whole is going to try to regain your trust by putting out potentially very good games like DmC, Dragon's Dogmas, Resident Evil: Raccoon City, Resident Evil Revelations, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Deadrising 2: Off the Record, etc. You can't really expect or ask more than for a publisher to pay you back for your disapointment with more good games.
You can boycott them all you want, I'm not trying to change that and you probably should be angry right now so you work it out as soon as possible and get over it eventually or else you'd miss out on some good games.
Thank god people didn't boycott Capcom before Okamiden came out, it already died at retail (even though its a very good game) and it's fate would have been that much worse.
