Capcom is porting again...

REmake is getting Wii-maked, just like RE0.

I already have REmake for the gamecube. All I'm missing is RE0, but I can't find it anywhere and I can't buy off the internet.

Do you think they are porting these for those who can't find the GameCube versions? If so, I really wish they would bring them to Europe at least.:|

REmake is my fav in the series (tied with RE1 and CV)...I will definitely be picking uo RE0 (which was GOOD) and REmake. Finally...Im happy to own a Wii Again!!!

For some reason the people at Capcom think it's 1998. They just keep on insulting Wii owners with this rubbish. And you know one of their low tiered devs will put it together too.

I have a new theory:

The main Wii development team is working on Monster Hunter 3, so the second tier teams are doing the port. Once Monster Hunter 3 is finished, maybe we will see more new tittles and less ports.

Plus Capcom is large enough where they can have more then one team of their "best" guys

They took a disappointing title from an expensive platform and moved it to a platform selling best this gen. They can make the game for the Wii for about 5 times less then they were making it and can offer it to more people.

Even if the game sells less on the Wii they'll still cover their costs plus enough to cover the failed work on the other platform.

You know what's more insulting than fanboys complaining about dozens of titles that aren't coming to Wii?

It's companies that are porting games and tacking on motion sensing controls to an inferior of our time- the PS2 and for Capcom the GCN.

And only does the Wii lack in graphics when in reality it is Nintendo that actually knows what really matters most.

There's no point in buying RE0 for the Wii. It's virtually the same game as it was on the Gamecube. it just comes on one disc instead of two and is more expensive to buy.

I don't think Capcom have given up on the Wii. There's still no offical response about 'RE5' for the Wii but Capcom are making 'Dead Rising' for the system which should be out in a while. The company did well out of RE4 Wii edition and REUC so I guess more Capcom games will be out in the future.
