umm its more than just an ordinary sidescroller. it has tons of different enemies, fun bosses, a large castle to explore, and IMO its much better than any mario game
I have portrait of ruin and it's an okay game, and yeah it's kinda hard to get into. Â I heard that Dawn of sorrow was good so you should probably stick with that.
