So I was looking at the registering for other people and it says u can register other people with a PC or a CELL PHONE!!! I tried mine but i cant get any messages, does it support sms?

When you go to register Wii, don't pick Wii, pick "Others." Put your e-mail in, and wait a couple of minutes for an e-mail saying "This Wii console has registered you" or something like that. It asks if you want to accept, accept it, and send a message to your Wii. Probably have it as a contact too, wait a couple of minutes and it'll get to the Wii.

Yes, but it says cellphone as in "Sms to cellphones" and not "mails to you ordinary email acessable throught a wap enabled phone" :P so to me it sounds as you should be able to enter a phone number but i can't seem to get that option.
Okay, I guess he is not going to post back. You have to enter a email address, not a phone number. Like a have verizion, so I tell all my friends to enter: *My phone number*@vtext.com Thats just for verizion though... I would go to your services web site and try to find out what comes after the "@" sign... Hope this helped!!!

yupp i have verizon, but my friend has cingular, so I looked it up and its "your 10 digit phone number@cingularME.com" but I havent figured out how to accept it yet. The Wii sends a message to your phone, but the message got cut off for me, so I have no idea what to do.
Swedish operator called "tre.se" so i don't think you will be able to help me much :lol:

I went to www.tre.se and somehow found customer service, and then somehow found something about mobile email. XD (can't read swedish lol) BUT, I think it might be "your10digitnumber@tre.se" because inorder to do something on the site (I don't know what, cause I couldn't read it) you had to log in, and you account had to end in @tre.se So, try adding your number into ur wii with @tre.se at the end, if it works, it should send ur cell a text message within a few minutes.

I don't think its WAP, I think its just standard sms. Cause it sent me a text message saying that my Wii would like to communicate with this cell. I don't know how to accept it thoz.

well, it has been more than an hour since i sent the mail to the adress and still no message on my cell :( I think it could be that my cell operator does not have a mailadress as standard for the phone since they charge extra for most things. Im going to call them in the morning and check with them. Did any of you guys actually get it working between the Wii and the cell ? (Typing this from the Wii btw :) )
