does anyone know if The Godfather Blackhand Edition is worth buying? It looked very interesting and I really want to see the movies. What I've seen of the movies and the game it looks like a very good series. Is this a decent game?

It is definately worth the buy imo. The game lasted me about 25 hours on my first play through so it will keep you busy. I reccommend it.

I had the version for PS2 and it was awesome. I recommend buying it, especially for the extra missions added.

if i would describe the game I would say that it has advantages and disadvantges to gta (gta obviously being the greatest influence)

-it's worse than gta in that it has a gimped living world in comparison. GTA has so much stuff going, so much "useless" content that fills out the experience. The best writing in gta is often in the commercials, radio talk, etc. and you wont find much of that atmosphere in godfather. In truth the game doesn't function properly as an living open world game

-it's better than gta in the actual game. Even gta4 imo. Better story, better combat, better combat options, better character advancement, etc. What stood out most to me was that the game gets funner and funner as it progresses, while gta games tend to wear on you by the time you get to the end.

godfather is awesome. I like the motion sensing combat. Grabbing, throwing and strangling in particular

I'd recommend it, I had a ton of fun playing it although it doesn't have as many side stuff as gta, but it's still very awesome.

It's a great game, it gets a little boring after a while, but I logged 40 hours on it and it's fun while it last.

The Wii version is defenitly a great game, but I couldn't imagine this game being fun at all without the motion controls.
